The Infected Soul

The Infected Soul is a first-person psychological horror game from Spell Factory, built for teams of 2 to 4 players in online co-op. It is set in a post-nuclear world where the ELYSION regime controls human minds through neural chips. You play as escaped test subjects whose fractured perception makes reality, memory and hallucination impossible to tell apart.

No. The Infected Soul is designed as an online co-op experience for 2 to 4 players. The facilities, puzzles and threats are balanced around a team, and the story unfolds through what your team experiences together.

Every player experiences their own version of the same facility. A sound, a figure or a threat may exist for one teammate and not for the others, and the game never tells you whose perception is real. Describing what you see can save the team, or it can walk everyone straight into danger, which turns communication itself into part of the horror.

Death is not the end. Your consciousness can be transferred into different bodies and beings, each with unique abilities. Dying changes how you move, what you can do and how your team approaches the puzzle in front of you, and sometimes it is even part of the solution.

It is an FPS, but survival rarely comes down to firepower. Stealth is your first tool: hide, distract enemies and turn the environment to your advantage while hallucinations, paranoia and shifting threats work against the whole team.

The game unfolds chapter by chapter, and each chapter has its own atmosphere, enemies and kind of puzzles. The journey moves from ruined cities on Earth through dark experimental facilities to space structures and the surface of the Moon.

The Infected Soul is coming to Steam for Windows and macOS. Linux and console versions have not been announced for now; if that changes, we will announce it on our social channels first.

The game supports 17 languages with full interface and subtitles. English and Turkish also include complete voice-over for every character.
